6WSC Update: T-minus 2-4 weeks to launch

I’m very happy with the progress I’ve made over the past few weeks and I’m only running 48 hours behind schedule from my original plan. As I look over the growing list of things to do, I have two choices:

1). Cut corners, finish on time

2). Break the rules, put in another two weeks of elbow grease, and do it right.

The obvious choice is the right choice. Here’s to the 8 Week Startup Challenge!

The biggest milestone so far is that the site itself is 90% built and should hopefully be completed in the next few days. I brushed up on my HTML/CSS, got up to speed with HTML5/CSS, and built the most beautiful website I’ve ever designed. I’m very proud of the way it looks.

I’ve also been in contact with lawyers to help me procure a trademark and special brand name I covet for this company. It seems like a 50/50 chance of this working out…  I may or may not have given a dollar of my budget to a homeless woman in the hopes that I could boost my karma supply.
